Bad Gateway on Client Connect
« on: December 01, 2008, 07:00:00 am »
In the release notes for 2.9a9 it states that you can now connect to the mud using a Java client at:

http://your.muds.address.com:8001/cgi/connection.html

What is meant by "java client"?  A mud client or a browser with Java enabled?

Thanks!

The URL is incorrect and will be fixed in subsequent releases.
The correct page name is "connect.html". For example, to access
the client page for Dead Souls, the URL would be:

http://alcatraz.wolfpaw.net:8001/cgi/connect.html

The web page served by the url points your browser to a
java client you can choose to run, which will automatically
be configured to connect to your mud.
