Randalar and myself were the only ones really active a couple of years back with Avatar. If Pheadrus and Sarak are happy with you re-packaging it then I see no problems.

I'm quite happy to help out new admins of either package (H7 original or Avatar) as I have experience with both. My first experince of I3 (on the gjs net) was with Avatar. I'm acyually more at home with LDMud than with MudOS.

Wow.

H7! Its been a while. At one time H7 was the most "feature packed" lib that would run on Amylaar, at least from what i could find at the time. I must say that the early revs were my favorite and the code that malevolence branched off was the best. Malev...memories.

I would be interested in a "revival" project of this lib if anyone is currently working on it/with it....

does this place do PMs? if so, send me one if thats the case...

I'm planning to release an Avatar bundle at some point and
add it to the download page ( http://lpmuds.net/downloads.html ).

I don't quite remember what held up my release, I remember
I was almost done and then something interrupted me. I'll
bump up the priority on my todo list.

In the meantime, if you're a do it yourselfer, you can
download the appropriate driver from bearnip ( http://www.bearnip.com/lars/proj/ldmud.html )
and H7 Avatar lib from the file repository ( http://lpmuds.net/files/heaven7_4a2.tar.gz )

BTW, the H7 forum is apparently still alive: http://heaven7.sourceforge.net/forum.php

The downloads section still works too so you should be able to download the older lib without too many problems too.

Meh. Life has doled out much "free" time to me, so I'm back with a vengeance. I don't know what keeps bringing me back to H7. Sentimentalism?
