Thanks, Crat.

EDIT:

The appropriate local_options file fixed my problems.

Thanks, everyone.

Wodan,

I recently installed v2.14 (about an hour ago) Compilation went well, although I'm unable to connect to the game.

Driver output:
Code: [Select]

Any ideas?

Well, I didn't use your bundled package but everything is compiling fine on my Ubuntu laptop.

Using this local_options which may be the same as the bundled version. Will there be MySQL support in the future?

I've had quite a bit of experience using the last release of FluffOS with Lima. The only problem i've really had was with MySQL support. About to download the new FluffOS release and see how it works =)

Could you post the problems that you're having? Are you only having a segmentation fault? What types of warnings are you receiving while compiling?

All the information is helpful :)

Could you send your changes to wodan@wodan.pressanykey.nl ?

Your crash is probably gone if you compile without DEBUG, introduced a crasher there in 2.6, oops!

Ok. Is there a way to extend FluffOS to support more than "0.000000"

We're needing support for double precision. How would I go about implementing this?

Odd, the same exact driver file works fine on debian 2.4.x. Works now! :D

I'll give it a shot this weekend on my server at home...

It must be the out-of-date compiler  ??? The code compiles although I still receive:

Code: [Select]
Trying 172.16.10.1...
Connected to 172.16.10.1.
Escape character is '^]'.

So, I don't know?  :-\

gcc --version
2.95.4

According to gcc --help

Code: [Select]
Options starting with -g, -f, -m, -O or -W are automatically passed on to
the various sub-processes invoked by gcc.  In order to pass other options
on to these processes the -W<letter> options must be used.

Luckily, I have no clue what i'm doing *score*

Also, I'm using an i686 arch.

Confused...

Code: [Select]
mkdir -p obj
rm -f cc.h
echo "/* this file automatically generated by the Makefile */" > cc.h
echo '#define COMPILER "gcc"' >> cc.h
echo '#define OPTIMIZE "-O2 -fstrength-reduce"' >> cc.h
echo '#define CFLAGS   "-D __USE_FIXED_PROTOTYPES__ -rdynamic -m32 -O2 -fstrength-reduce"' >> cc.h
echo '#define OBJDIR   "obj"' >> cc.h
gcc -D __USE_FIXED_PROTOTYPES__ -rdynamic -m32 -o obj/edit_source.o -c edit_source.c
cc1: Invalid option `32'
make: *** [obj/edit_source.o] Error 1

Again, i'm not very familiar with C and gcc. Where should I add -m32?
