Title: weird problem with "say to"
Post by: dique on September 28, 2006, 01:31:23 pm

I'm having a weird. I havn't changed anything on the codebase. i just downloaded it and got it up and running. So when i log on with a testchar and try to use "say to" it's not working.

"say to woman hello" leads to "You say in Englisch: 'To woman hello'"

But when i log on the test mud linked from dead-souls.net it's working fine! i'm really new to coding/building and im basically just trying out a couple things, messing around, reading tutorials/faqs and so on.

so i'm really sorry if i missed out something really obvious.

thanks.

Dique,

That bug is fixed in the next version. It's included in the alpha lib.

The alpha lib is a pre-release version of Dead Souls

that isn't quite stable enough for an official release. It contains

the fix for that bug.

Thanks for the report.
