So I figured it might be nice to set up an LP mud farm...I'm
still working on it, so it's missing a few libs yet. Also, right
now they are mostly not auto-wiz, though eventually they will be.

However, I'm running into a bit of a problem I hope someone
can help me out with.

I've set up a connection page that uses the FMud flash client.
You can find it here:

http://lpmuds.net/mudfarm.html

The individual connection pages seem to work just dandy
using Flashplayer 9.

But when I use Flashplayer 10.0r12, the client
hangs after the initial connection. If I switch back
to 9, it works again. I've tried this on two separate
Linux installs, using Firefox 3.0.1 and 3.0.3.

I reported it to the developer of the client, but he says
he can't reproduce the problem. Can some of you try using
Flash 10 to connect to those muds and tell me if you
run into issues?

If not, I'll just chalk it up to some error I'm making,
and carry on. But if so, at least we can provide the
dev with more info.

Thx!

-Crat

Edit:
Interestingly, it fails on two separate linuxes, but the failure
does not occur on Windows. Hrmmm...

Well, the Linux Flash team consists of one person's part-time.
There were always problens with it's quality (F9 for linux was 4-10 times slower than windows version).

I think, therefore i may be wrong.
Please note that if you met a Raudhrskal in a place that's not related to muds, it wasn't me. *sigh*... back when I started there was zero hits on google for that name...

Wewt! Turns out it was a bug in the flash client after all. The latest
release of it seems to avoid the problem, so the mudfarm should
work for everyone.
