This forum seems pretty dead, so maybe I can do a little revive with a question that I have. I'm in the process of designing a new game based on TMI-2 (because that's what I've always used as a builder and now I want to make my life miserable by continuing to use it) and I've got everything set up and working.

One of the weird things, though, is the color handling. My character's title always has a %^RESET%^ after it, and any time I try to add a color before it, eg set TITLE %^RED%^$N is working hard%^RESET%^, I see exactly that instead of the colors.

Doing a term test will show me all of the colors properly, so I know that they are working and my terminal colors are set properly. Any ideas as to why the color parsing isn't working?
